About the company
In Wilhelmshaven, VYONOVA operates the production sites Voslapp and Ruestersiel which are located within about 7 miles (12 kilometres) of each other. Wilhelmshaven is located in the north-western part of Lower Saxony and has direct access to the shipping channel in the southern North Sea. Approx. 350 people are employed at both Wilhelmshaven sites.
The sites comprise a chlorine plant with a production capacity of 137,000 tonnes of chlorine and 300,000 tonnes of sodium hydroxide per annum, a VCM plant with a production capacity of 400,000 tonnes per annum, a PVC plant with an annual capacity of 380,000 tonnes, supply systems to provide energies and operating resources as well as a jetty for the import and export of raw materials, intermediate and finished products.
