NWO Nord-West Oelleitung GmbH
The NWO is Germany's joining point for transshipping, storing and conveying mineral oil. Almost 1 billion tons of mineral oil have been handled since starting up of the tanker discharching pier on 29 November 1958, with the help of nearly 18.000 tankers. Due to this the NWO-pier was established as Germany's most important and largest place of transshipment for mineral oil. Year after year almost one fifths of all the German mineral oil imports are processed at the NWO-terminal.
