- Oilport (Liquid goods)
With its strategic location at the Elbe and the Kiel Canal, Brunsbüttel offers direct access to North Sea, Baltic Sea and European inland waterways as well as industrial areas within close distance to the Port. These advantages make the Ports of Brunsbüttel the most attractive centre for cargo handling for the largest coherent industrial area in Schleswig-Holstein and for the metropolitan area of Hamburg.
Today the Elbehafen is a Universal Port with extended customer focus and
logistical competence. Efficient transport connections as well for land – sea as for back areas by truck, rail, feeder and inland vessel, mean excellent conditions for a logistical turntable.
