New owner for Wilhelmshaven refinery | | | The American conglomerate, ConocoPhillips, publicly announced the takeover of the Wilhelmshavener Raffineriegesellschaft mbH. The conglomerate’s vice president, Jim Nokes, announced that they had successfully concluded negotiations with the previous British owner, Louis Dreyfus Energy Holdings Ltd., with the final transaction taking place in the first half of 2006.
