New ChemCoast Chairman elected

On June, 9th of 2011 The Meeting of Members has elected Arnd Thomas, Managing Director of Dow Stade Anlagengesellschaft, as new Chairman for a period of two years. Dr. Peter Prinz, INEOS Chlor Atlantik GmbH and Dr. Jochen Wilkens, General Manager of Chemical Association Germany, Northern Region will continue their ChemCoast work in the board also for the next two years.

Dachser expands in Hanover

Investments of EUR 13.6 million / New in-floor drag-line conveyor Kempten/Langenhagen 15.06.2009. The internationally operating logistics provider, Dachser, is investing EUR 13.6 million in the expansion of its Hanover logistics centre in Langenhagen. Work is scheduled for completion in the spring of 2010.

New Board of Directors on duty

On June, 19th of 2009, the Meeting of Members has elected a new Board of Directors on regular basis. The new chairmen is now Rainer Roghmann, General Manager of Dow Stade Anlagengesellschaft mbH, supported by the two Vice chairmen Dr. Peter Prinz, INEOS Chlor Atlantik GmbH and Dr. Jochen Wilkens, General Manager of Chemical Association Germany, Northern Region, who has continued his work in that leading team.

Dow increases its production capacities in Stade

New owner for Wilhelmshaven refinery
Aktuell The American conglomerate, ConocoPhillips, publicly announced the takeover of the Wilhelmshavener Raffineriegesellschaft mbH. The conglomerate’s vice president, Jim Nokes, announced that they had successfully concluded negotiations with the previous British owner, Louis Dreyfus Energy Holdings Ltd., with the final transaction taking place in the first half of 2006. The good news for Wilhelmshaven is that ConocoPhillips also intend to invest considerably in the site.... more

Dow starts to operate the pipeline from Stade to Teutschenthal
Aktuell Stade - In October 2003 the Lower Saxon Minister for the Economy, Walter Hirche, symbolically opened a new ethylene pipeline in the presence of Manfred Maas, Undersecretary at the Ministry of Economy in Saxony Anhalt, and Gunter Armonat, District Administrator of Stade rural district. The 390 km long pipeline will supply the subsidiary of the US chemical company - Buna Sow Leuna Olefinverbund GmbH BSL in Schkopau – with the raw material it needs to produce plastics. ...more
